THE ARTIST
Miccail Shah is an artist, entrepreneur and spiritually inclined person. He finds artistic expression by contributing to the designing of various products and oil painting on canvas. He is a self taught artist and his abstract compositions are purely expression of his inner conviction and belief. His piece of art is created by masterly use of lines, colors and rich vocabulary of shapes and symbols. This creativity coupled by his authentic direct approach is also underscored in his “black and white” themes. He primarily concentrates in the expression of concept rather than the technical skills. His paintings indeed are testimony to his innate talent and innovative personality.
THE ART
His paintings are conceived through self experience or from idea that is born in his mind; then it takes root, followed by the topic which takes shape and it then develops to find form. The artist feels that his strength lies in not being influenced by anyone or any school or style. The art style is spontaneous and natural expressing universality pertaining to all human races. His union and place of complex arrangements of human forms, symbols, words, and lines means different things to different viewers, but all relating to something from their own lives. His work has involved, by constant improving and improvising his techniques. His painting conveys life, light, darkness, mystery, transformation of human being and also emphasizes on character and character transformation. Some of them carry essential social themes such as unity and peace.
The art falls into the category of abstract expression, and uses vibrant colors as well as black, and shades of grey and white. Art was not something that was prepared for as he had no inclination to paint or experience or training to do so. It occurred in the early 30’s after a spiritual experience that he encountered that period of his life. The intense emotions and experience that he felt, gave this immense urge to express the transformation within him.The artist embraced and yielded to the spiritual influence during which underwent a gamut of emotions and events that fostered the metamorphosis. Each art is unique and is due to intense personal experience. Any human, when at any time is quiet and still looks within themselves can relate with their own selves with the themes of the artwork.
